oh, V!

When Sylvie wants something, she is bound and determined to get it. She's the kind of girl that puts everything she's got into it, and if she's just not that interested, she's just not interested. Well, since it's supposed to be so warm tomorrow (40's!) I thought the girls could eat a late breakfast of meaty deer bones on the porch. I got them out around 7 this evening to thaw on the counter a while and Sylvie hasn't left the kitchen since and it is now 11pm. She's sitting by the counter, patiently waiting. Every once in awhile I hear a small whine come out of her, but when I go and check, she's sitting in the same regal position- a sentry guarding the deer bones. She's come to the couch a few times to nudge me then runs back to the kitchen. Just for the sake of giving in to her, I let her "counter surf" for the first time in her life before I put the bones in the fridge. She made full use of the surfing time to tell me how unfair her life is...
